Mission Statements of The Basin of Life Fellowship

我要先求主的國和主的義，所需要的一切就都會加給我們了。我要天天背起自己的十字架來跟從主（主的擔子是輕省的）。

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give us everything we need. I will take up my cross daily, and follow Jesus. (For the burden He gives us is light.)

作好充分準備，無論時機好壞，務要宣講上帝的話語。要有耐心地用良善的教導來糾正、責備、鼓勵人。時候將到，那時人們將不再聽從健全完善的道理，他們將只會隨從自己的私慾，到處求師，以滿足他們發癢的耳朵想聽到的一切。他們會拒絕真理，轉而追求虛假的道理。但我們無論在任何景況中務必要保持頭腦清楚。不要害怕為主受苦。慇勤向他人傳講福音，徹底執行上帝所交付我們的任務。

Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether
the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.(NLT)

我們要以警醒的頭腦和感恩的心，獻身於主，心無旁鶩地專心禱告與主連結。(除了自己單獨禱告與主連結外，也要常和大家一起禱告，尋求主的帶領。)還要時常求上帝為我們打開傳道的門，使我們傳揚基督的奧秘。也求上帝使我們每一個人，都能盡自己的本份把福音的信息講清楚。我們要善用每個機會見證福音，運用智慧和非信徒相處。談吐要帶著恩慈憐憫的心，溫文有禮，風趣得體，知道該如何適當地回應每個人。

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.
